2012 Resolutions

No...that is not a typo. I wanted to follow up on two of my 2012 resolutions (mainly because I completed them. Haha.) I promised myself that in 2012 I would do SOMETHING with all of our photos. Mac and I take photos on our iPhones and our big camera, yet we do nothing with them. They just sit on the computer. So all last year I was very diligent to organize our photos by month. Every once in a while I would also upload our iPhone photos and sort those as well.

Last week I started creating our 2012 book...kind of like a year book. Shutterfly was offering about three different coupons I could use all at once, so I was motivated to get my book completed. I finished it on New Years Day. The sucker is a whopping 76 pages and was supposed to cost around $140. With all my my coupon codes, I only paid $65 for our book! This is a steal compared to printing all those photos and putting them into albums! We are supposed to get the book sometime next week, so I will let you know what I think about the final product.

Here is a screen shot of the cover of the book!

NOTE! Now Shutterfly is offering 50% off all photo books! Check them out HERE.

My second resolution was to run a 5K. After downloading the Couch to 5K App, I completed that resolution in June of 2012 by running the Harbor Town 5K. I also finished off the year by running in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon as part of a relay team. I hope to sign up for some more 5Ks in 2013.

As for my 2013 resolutions...I am not quite sure yet. They will be focused on cooking/eating more at home and working on our savings. I know that Mac and I both have some specific goals in mind! Here's to 2013!
