Click on THREE links!

Hello! It has been too long! I had an unexpected work trip earlier this week to San Francisco! Since flying in and out of the West coast from Memphis is impossible, it took me three days to get out there and back for a Tuesday morning meeting. Yikes!

Mac and I are almost upon our ONE YEAR anniversary. Crazy crazy crazy. Sometimes it feels like we've been married ten years and sometimes Oct. 1 feels like it was yesterday. It has been such a fun year...I wish I could re-live Oct. 1, 2011 all over again. It was such a fun, magical, perfect day.

I don't think I ever posted it on here, but our wedding was featured on the Southern Bride blog. Our amazing florist, Kent Freeman, found the post. I don't think I would have ever seen it without him! Check out the post HERE

Also...some of you may have received an email, but Mac and I are fundraising for St. Jude as we train to run the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Relay. Please check out our page HERE. A very special shout out to Patty and Kermit for being our first donors!! Thank you SO much. We would invite everyone to come to downtown Memphis to watch the race in person. I've done it the past few years and it is an awesome experience just to stand on the sidelines. Who knows, it might inspire you to run in 2013!

For a little St. Jude love...check out our newest video. It features several of our precious patients and some of our great celebrities that support the hospital. Watch the Hey Jude video HERE.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Mac and I have a fun little trip planned. I promise to post some photos early next week. Confession: I think I am most excited about eating the top tier of our wedding cake. That was some delicious cake! :)

Ow + Dinner

As some of you may know, Mac and I are running the St. Jude Memphis Marathon as part of a relay team. (We will also be raising money as St. Jude Heroes, so expect an email from us soon!) I started my running again on Monday, and today I can barely walk. Literally. It is so painful. Here is my current progress:

Monday - 2.2 miles, pace 14 minute mile (yikes, I am slow)
Tuesday - 2.2 miles, pace 11 minutes (mile 1) 12 minutes (mile 2)

I will have more information on the Relay in upcoming blog posts, also some updates on Mac's training!

On Monday night I enjoyed cereal for dinner so I figured I should get my act together for Tuesday night! Mac and I both love spaghetti, and I had been wanting to try out this sauce forever. It did not disappoint. If you need a tasty tomato sauce, give it a try. Yum yum.

Here are the ingredients you will need. I borrowed this photo from Smitten Kitchen because I forgot to snap one. Yup, three ingredients make a delicious sauce!
